About:

Crawl a dungeon and slay monsters in this single level demo. Fend of blood thirsty imps, demons imbued with the power of flame and even slimey growths who want to eat your innards! Solve puzzles and collect weapons as you progress, but choose what you take with you carefully.

I had zero experience with coding and this project is my playground to learn and understand code. Over the last ~3-4 weeks this is what I have created. Enjoy!

Art and Sound:

For the art, initially used 0x72's Dungeon Tileset II then decided to expand on it with my own reconfiguration and additions to the pack, both are available here:

Hey, I just played.
Plus:
- cool mechanic to care only one item
- checkpoint system
- nice usage of assets and new sprites are composing with them
- nice usage of particles for fountain
- I had a lot of fun playing it, very nice animation of attack

Minus:
- I miss a animation for hit the monster. You can do this easily by flashing a monster.
- Didn't feel diference between weapons
- Shooting shamans feel little overbalanced.
- No history ;/

Overall I enjoyed your game and saw nice usage of assets (I also used them :P)

ps. waiting for the next game

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it
